Hans Philip Zachau M.Sc
CEO, Co-founder and Partner
After graduating from Chalmers Technical University in 1980 Hans Philip was offered a position at Volvo Design. Upon leaving to start his own consultancy 10 years later, Hans Philip had worked on several concept and production cars and was Head of one Exterior Studio. Together with Volvo colleague Lasse Pettersson, he ran Nya Perspektiv Design successfully through the ninties, which at its peak employed as many as 15 designers, one of the largest in Scandinavia. The company was sold to Epsilon in 2001, and Hans Philip stayed on as Design Director for five years. Beside the business Hans Philip was one of the initiators to the Master Course in Transportation Design at Umeå University, and since 1999 a visiting professor at the school.
From being a car nut, Hans Philip has in later years developed an interest in alternative means of transportation such as kayaks and bicycles.
