In 2014 the entire assets of the Indigo factory were acquired by Braun Holding AB from Skene near Gothenburg, western Sweden. The complex task of updating the sports car was started, culminating in a 10-car pre-series of the limited-edition vonBraun Indigo 3000 R Signature Series. These cars are based on the original layout but updated to meet today's expectations in terms of design, performance and finish. The task of updating the exterior design was given to Hans Philip Zachau and Lighthaus Industrial Design. In 2015 the vonBraun Indigo 3000 R will be introduced and tested in roadster and coupé versions. Most of the highly exclusive Signature Series (just 10 cars) has been reserved for VIP customers of von Braun Sports Cars. The series is expected to be manufactured in early/mid 2016, priced below EUR 100,000 for the basic model.
